Best Network Routers and LinksysRouters
To find out more about these routers, see below… or click on the links above to go directly to Amazon.
There’s a fight that’s been going on for years. It’s a fierce battle between two of the two biggest heavyweights, probably among consumer routers. What fight are we talking about? Netgear versus Linksys, of course!
Since the 1990s, these home routing giants have been striving to surpass themselves by constantly bringing the latest and best routers on the market. We know and rely on these two routing brands to provide us with fast and reliable routers with reliable Wi-Fi.
But what we want to know now is which router to choose according to our needs. What’s the best router? What’s the best router a bank can’t break? Which is the best budget milling machine?
It is best to answer each question individually. Assuming you have a router corresponding to a Categoryaccount, and you do what that router can do.
Okay, without further ado, let’s start the fight!
Netgear vs. Linksys – best AC router (oh, and AD!)
The best AC routers from Netgear and Linksys, you ask? Both Linksys and Netgear routers belong to the fastest class of routers so far – AC3200.

AD, you say? Weren’t you gonna say A.C.? No, this is Netgear’s first raid on the 802.11ad wireless world.
What does that mean for you and me? You can connect via Wi-Fi at gigabit speed. Don’t get too excited yet. There’s not much on the .11ad, but that should change over time. Also note that the distance to the coverage area is not very long as the DA operates in the 60 GHz range. We’re really only talking in a direct line and within a few yards. The ideal application is the bridging and streaming of uncompressed video between special devices . . . at least for now.
Besides the .11ad there is the MU-MIMO Quad Stream, and of course it also uses wireless AC and the N. Tri Band is available in all 3 standards.
The X10 is also a Plex-Ready server (for all your media), with 10 Gbps LAN ports (via SFP) and 6 RJ-45 LAN ports that support aggregation.
It also has a quad-core processor to run it, Sweet!
If you’re willing to spend the money, you can make it worse than the X10.

Link WRT32X AC3200 Wi-Fi gambling router (with killer prioritization motor)
>> Check WRT32X for Amazon <<
New 2017 – WRT32X is the first router dedicated to the game developed by Linksys.
If your gaming device is equipped with an NIC (Network Interface Card) Killer, the WRT32X will automatically prioritize Internet and Internet game traffic for these devices. It’s an easy way to set up QoS (Quality of Service) instead of going to the router’s configuration page and manually configure each device or use a generic rule for multiple devices that sometimes inadvertently prioritize non-play traffic (unless you know 100% about what you’re doing).
What else has he got? Well, there are three MU MIMO currents that together can deliver a theoretical speed of 2.6 Gb/s at 5 GHz (with another 600 Mb/s at the good old 2.4 GHz). Yeah, it’s a dual-band router.
It also has USB 3.0 ports and 4 x 1 Gbps LAN ports.
Overall, it’s not as good as the X10, but again, it’s designed for online gamers who want to ping as little as possible – without the Cisco QoS qualification or a networking diploma!
We do not have these two giants in common, because they may not be in direct competition with each other.

What about the middle of the .11ac package?
Non-woven Falcon X6
Since its release at the end of 2014, the Nighthawk X6 R8000 has conquered the world. Netgear’s most powerful router was also the first AC3200 router to reach stores.
Netgear has also adopted the appearance of a stealthy hunter, like the original Nighthawk, which makes it even more menacing. We think it looks cooler than the EA9200. Not that the EA9200 is particularly bad!

links EA9200 AC3200 Wi-Fi router
X6 R8000 and EA9200 General specifications
Up to 3.2 Gbit/s – Data rates up to 3200 Mbit/s in 3 bands (two 5 GHz and one 2.4 GHz).
Tri-Band – We enter the era of the 3 groups. Two 5 GHz bands (1.3 Gbps each) and one 2.4 GHz band (600 Mbps) allow your customers to switch to one of the two available bands. That’s pretty cool, because it means that none of the customers can intercept the full 5 GHz bandwidth.
The router withsmart-software balances wireless clients over two bands. This allows you to optimize your network as much as possible.
Dual Core Processor – All the data traffic the AC3200 can collect requires a fast processor for processing. They both have the latest and 3 additional processors for processing NAT (traffic between your local network and the internet).
USB 3.0 – One USB 3.0 port and a second port (USB 2.0) are available.
Beamforming and Antenna Shaping – As you probably already know, both the EA9200 and the Nighthawk R8000 models feature beamforming technology. Customers can travel further than ever before and maintain high Wi-Fi speeds.
With 6 fully adjustable/removable antennas it is easier to say goodbye to blind spots in the house. This is particularly true for multi-storey buildings, as it can be difficult for customers to connect vertically to the router on another level. Tilting the antennas can solve this problem.

Netgear vs. Linksys – the best all-in-one milling machine
Well, you know… decent road, boom for boom.
Original Knightawk cutter. And you know what, it’s still a great router. In fact, in a way, it’s cooler now than ever before. What for? Because even if he’s not the fastest kid in town anymore, he’s still damn fast! It’s fast enough for streaming on 4K, entertaining online games and working with multiple customers at the same time. It has many interesting features.
Then why is it always so cool? Because the price has gone down. Netgear had to lower the price of all these new models.

Above that, there’s a WRT1900AC with Nighthawk in the bet. Looks like a Linksys classic, and with the DD-WRT finished, it’s a little gem.

Other network routers to see
The price is even a little lower, it’s Netgear R6300v2. The roar of the nocturnal eagle seems to have captivated everyone. It is a very good router – and it has two USB ports.

E8350 (yes, we always confuse this with the too similar name EA8500 above!) is another MU MIMO router.
It’s less powerful, but it costs a little less…
